No one hurt in truck accident

The driver of a dump truck walked away from his overturned vehicle at 3:54 p.m. in the 2600 block of State Hwy. 361 after a good deed turned sour.

Police reports show the driver was northbound on State Hwy. 361, and pulled onto the shoulder to let a line of faster-moving vehicles pass him.

The driver, whose name was not given, overcorrected the truck, causing the load of sand to shift. That, in turn, tipped the truck onto the driver's side.

No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
