First Friday features 'Guy thing'

The Art Center for the Islands will hold its First Friday reception on June 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the art center, 323 N. Alister.

The June exhibit will feature the "It's a Guy Thing" exhibit. The public is invited to peruse the art exhibit, socialize and enjoy live music and refreshments. Admission is free.

Artists exhibiting include Steve Vaughn, Tiddle Caylor, Duffey Albright, Ed Boyd and Art Raynie. They will show works in acrylic, oils, and vinyl tape.

American Electric Power is sponsoring the art center during June.
