Hartshorn
Hartshorn was born Oct. 3, 1925, in Kansas City, Mo. She married her husband of 60 years, Donald Lloyd "Ike" Hartshorn, in 1943 in Kansas City. The Hartshorns worked on their farm together until they retired to Aransas Pass 25 years ago. She was a member of the Truth Rebekah Lodge. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Charles John and Mary Minerva Himes; twin sons Larry and Garry Hartshorn; sisters Noma Huser, Lenore Wuich and Zela Kramer; and grandson Jeffrey Alan Edwardson. She is survived by five other daughters and one son-in-law; Treva Jean (Del) Edwardson of Aransas Pass; China Lynn Minor of Corning, Calif.; Kathy Jo Clark of Garden City, Kan.; Tana Marie Hoskins of Aransas Pass; Dona Sue Murrell of Boneville, Ky.; a sister, Thelma (Byron) Brown; a niece, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 13 at the Coastal Bend Family Worship Center and May 17 at the First United Methodist Church in Syracuse, Kan. |
