Hartshorn
      Frances Marion Hartshorn, 82, died Sunday, May 11, 2008, in Aransas Pass. She was the mother of Julie Ann Caraker of Port Aransas. Hartshorn was born Oct. 3, 1925, in Kansas City, Mo. She married her husband of 60 years, Donald Lloyd "Ike" Hartshorn, in 1943 in Kansas City.

      Port Aransas architect and builder, Don Huff, 54, died suddenly Wednesday, May 28, at the Heart Hospital in Corpus Christi. Among his most recent projects were The Shops at Port A and, now under construction, The Tower Center.
