'COACHES VS. CANCER'
Beach yoga class on Sunday will benefit cancer research

Anyone interested in doing a little beach yoga while donating to a great cause can do both this weekend.

Yoga Friends United is holding a yoga class on the beach to benefit the American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer.

The outdoor yoga class for all fitness levels will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 25, at Horace Caldwell Pier. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

Nancy Meyers, who regularly teaches yoga on the beach in Port Aransas, will lead the class.

Youth participants 10 - 18 years old will pay $10.

The fee for one adult participant plus tee shirt is $25; one adult participant plus tee shirt and yoga towel is $50; one adult participant plus tee shirt, yoga towel and yoga mat is $100.

Sponsorship opportunities are available, and all proceeds benefit the local chapter of American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer.

Checks for donations may be made out to the American Cancer Society/ Coaches vs. Cancer and mailed to Sandi McKenna at P.O. Box 1960, Port Aransas, TX, 78373.
