Foerster OK'd as Lady Marlins coach

      The Port Aransas ISD Board of Trustees has approved hiring Stephanie Foerster to be the next coach of the Port Aransas High School Lady Marlins basketball team. Foerster is head girls' basketball coach at Corrigan-Camden High School in East Texas.

      The Gaff Team, sponsored by the Gaff in Port Aransas, participated in the Beach to Bay Marathon in Corpus Christi on Saturday, May 17. Finishing 420th overall, they finished 84th out of 648 teams in the Odds and Ends Division. Their race time was 3:57:34.65.
