WEDNESDAY, MAY 7
• 10:49 a.m. Emergency Medical Service (EMS) workers took an injured person from the 200 block of West Cotter Avenue to a Corpus Christi hospital.
THURSDAY, MAY 8
• 8:12 a.m. A burglary of a building was reported in the 700 block of Clark Parkway (see related story).
• 1:49 p.m. A man was arrested on North Street on a warrant from the Taft Police Department.
FRIDAY, MAY 9
• 3:27 a.m. Firefighters responded to a utility pole fire at State Hwy. 361 and Grand Caribbean. The fire was extinguished.
• 3:51 p.m. A man was arrested in the 700 block of West Avenue A and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle that happened on Sunday, May 4.
SATURDAY, MAY 10
• 1:40 a.m. Answeringa call abouta suspicious person in the 800 block of Beach Access Road 1, an officer charged a person with driving under the influence, failure to identify to a police officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession of alcohol.
• 3:27 a.m. On Cut-off Road, a man was charged with public intoxication (PI).
• 4:56 a.m. A man was charged in the 1700 block of South Station Street with PI. • 12:38 p.m. A burglary of a vehicle was reported to police in the 700 block of West Avenue A.
• 5:10 p.m. EMS workers took a person to a Corpus Christi hospital after a two-vehicle accident in the 5400 block of State Hwy. 361 (see related story).
SUNDAY, MAY 11
• 1:12 a.m. Answering a call to the 900 block of Tarpon Street about a sick person, an officer instead charged a man with PI.
• 9 a.m. EMS workers took a sick person to a Corpus Christi hospital from the 600 block of West Avenue C.
• 1:13 p.m. A man was arrested in the 500 block of West Cotter Avenue on an outstanding municipal court warrant, and also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
MONDAY, MAY 12
• 12:09 p.m. A vehicle burglary was reported in the 4900 block of State Hwy. 361.
• 3:02 p.m. A sick person was taken from the 600 block of Cut-off Road to a Corpus Christi hospital by EMS workers.
• 6:18 p.m. EMS workers took an injured person to a Corpus Christi hospital from the 100 block of Royal Sands Boulevard.
• 10:46 p.m. After a vehicle hit a pole on State Hwy. 361 North on Harbor Island, EMS crews took an injured person to a Corpus Christi hospital (see related story).
