Yoga event to benefit cancer society
Yoga Friends United is holding a yoga class on the beach to benefit the American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer.
The yoga class for all fitness levels will be at 9 a.m. on Sunday, May 25, at Horace Caldwell Pier. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
Nancy Meyers, who regularly teaches yoga on the beach in Port Aransas will lead the class.
Youth participants 10 - 18 years old will pay $10. The fee for one adult participant plus tee shirt is $25; one adult participant plus tee shirt and yoga towel is $50; one adult participant plus tee shirt, yoga towel and yoga mat is $100.
Sponsorships are available.
