The Port Aransas Junior Boatmen learned a few new tricks at their Wednesday, April 23, meeting.

Tim Bradfield, owner of Big Game Tackle, hosted the meeting at his shop and led a knot and leader tying workshop. Matt McClellen and Chris Wallace, both deckhands at Dolphin Dock, helped out. Members were treated to pizza and music during the meeting, as well.

The club was formed in April for Port Aransas middle and high school students interested in boating and fishing. According to Julie Shodrock, the club sponsor, they have applied for non-profit status so that donations to the organization will be tax deductible.
