Surprise visit
Playwright Perry Steele Patton of Los Angeles paid a surprise visit to the cast of 'A Breath of Dusty Air' on Thursday, April 24. Connie Beane, who played the lead character, Ima Jean Walker, said Patton was pleased with the performance. Perry, second from right, signed playbooks for the cast, from left, Jason Jett, Beane, Misty Hamm, Ginny Shaw and Michael Cristian. Alan Gardner-Atkinson directed the play presented by the Port Aransas Community Theater. The last performance was Sunday, April 27.
