Adult teams may register for summer softball

Adults who want to "batter up" this summer need to get their teams together and register by Sunday, May 18.

The Port Aransas Softball League begins the season May 20, and will continue for the next 12 weeks, with the last two weeks being play-offs.

League coordinator Butch Findley said the entry fee is $200 per team. To register, contact Findley at 749- 5554.

Coed teams start play at the Jerry McDonald Field, corner of Alister Street and Avenue C, on Tuesday, May 20. Men's teams begin the season on Thursday, May 22.
