Rabies clinic offers lower rates for neutered animals
Dogs and cats that have not yet received initial or annual rabies shots will have the opportunity to do so at a reduced cost this week. They should bring their masters (unless they have their own money) and their veterinary records to the rabies clinic at 319 Beach St.
Rabies shots and tags and city tags will be given for $5 for unaltered animals, and $2.50 for altered animals. Altered animals are those who have been spayed or neutered.
Hours for the clinic are Wednesday, May 7, 1:30 - 5 p.m., Thursday, May 8, 1:30 - 5 p.m. and Saturday, May 10, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The clinic is sponsored by the City of Port Aransas Animal Control in cooperation with the Island Animal Clinic.
