Swim team registration set Wednesday, May 14

Port Aransas Swim Team is gearing up for spring practices. Swimmers age 4 to 18 are invited to register Wednesday, May 14, at the Port Aransas Community Pool, 700 Clark Parkway, from 4 to 6 p.m.

The registration fee of $50 includes a team t-shirt and competition swimsuit for meets. Second child and family discounts are available. Goggles and swim fins will be available for purchase at registration.

Swimmers must be able to demonstrate an ability to swim the length of the pool without assistance. Contact Nana Ward at 749-6426 for more information.

Practice schedule: May 21, 23, 28 and 30: 4:30 - 6 p.m.

June and July: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 - 9:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 4:30 - 6 p.m.

Meets will be on Saturday mornings, beginning June 7.

Regional and state meets and city championships in July are optional.
