Ready to roll
Workers (background) clear off the old foundation of the historic Mercer House as the house itself sits on wheels and I-beams, ready to be moved to its destination. The house will end up at Brundrett and Alister streets on the Community Center grounds as a Port Aransas museum. Workers expected to be moving the house Wednesday or Thursday, April 23 or 24.
