POLICE BLOTTER MONDAY, APRIL 14 • 8:12 a.m. A burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of South Station Street. • 10:42 a.m. Emergency Medical Service (EMS) workers took an injured person from the south jetty to a Corpus Christi hospital. TUESDAY, APRIL 15 • 6:25 p.m. An officer cited a person at Pole 4 on the beach for having a glass container on the beach. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16 • 3:14 a.m. EMS crews took a sick person from the 300 block of South Ninth Street to a Corpus Christi hospital. • 7:08 p.m. Answeringa call about a disturbance in the 500 block of South Station Street, an officer charged a man with family disturbance by threat. THURSDAY, APRIL 17 • 10:16 a.m. EMS workers took a sick person from the 5900 block of State Hwy. 361 to a Corpus Christi hospital. • 5:22 p.m. A sick person was taken by EMS ambulance from the 4900 block of State Hwy. 361 to a Corpus Christi hospital. FRIDAY, APRIL 18 • 10:39 a.m. After a vehicle hit two pedestrians at Pole 11 on the beach, one of the pedestrians, with an injured hand, was taken by EMS crews to a Corpus Christi hospital. • 7:33 p.m. EMS workers took an injured person from the 4700 block of Captiva Lane to a Corpus Christi hospital. • 8:50 p.m. A sick person was taken to an Aransas Pass hospital from the 700 block of West Avenue A by EMS workers. • 10:29 p.m. An officer charged a man in the 400 block of West Cotter Avenue with public intoxication (PI). SATURDAY, APRIL 19 • 1:42 a.m. EMS crews took a sick person from the 200 block of State Hwy. 361 North to a Corpus Christi hospital. • 2:13 a.m. During a traffic stop at Pole 9 on the beach, an officer charged a man with willful and wanton disregard for property and persons and with driving in the dunes. • 4:16 a.m. Called to a disturbance and fight in the 400 block of West Avenue C, an officer charged a man and a woman both with Class A assaultfamily violence. • 2:49 p.m. At Pole 11 on the beach, a man was charged with PI. • 5:13 p.m. After an accident between a 2005 Dodge and a moped in the 1900 block of State Hwy. 361, a man refused medical attention. • 6:27 p.m. An officer charged a man in the 400 block of West Cotter Avenue with trying to cut in to the ferry line. • 10:05 p.m. Firefighters went to a fire in a commercial trash container on Island Moorings Parkway. The container was reportedly filled with construction materials on fire. Firefighters thought they had the fire extinguished, but were called back to the scene at 1:40 a.m. when the blaze flared up again. SUNDAY, APRIL 20 • 1:48 a.m. An officer arrested a man in the 3500 block of State Hwy. 361 on an outstanding Nueces County warrant. • 3:28 a.m. EMS workers took a sick person from the 800 block of Banyon Beach to a Corpus Christi hospital. • 1:12 p.m. A burglary of a vehicle was reported on Pleasant Valley Road. |
