'Hot Shots' photos are focus of next First Friday exhibit

The Art Center for the Islands will hold its First Friday reception on May 2, from 5 to 8 p.m.

The May exhibit will feature the Hot Shots group photography exhibit.

Photographers exhibiting include Brenda Barnett, Ralph Camp, Gary Hansen, Kay Harbour, Gloria Hunter, Harriett Holland, Christopher Hyer, Jen Jones, Cordelia Lovelady, John Martell, Dave Matisons, Fritz Rengler, Nancy Stephenson and Mickey Taylor.

The public is invited to peruse the photo exhibit, socialize and enjoy live music and refreshments. The show will be held at the art center, 323 N. Alister.

The Port Aransas Chamber of Commerce - Tourist Bureau is sponsoring the art center during May.
