BMS scores at practice The seventh and eighth grade tennis teams from Brundrett Middle School played a practice tournament on Friday, April 18, in Alice. It was a warm-up to the district tournament that will be held Monday, May 5, also in Alice. "I was really impressed with how well they did for their first tournament. We had a lot of kids who placed. They knew how to keep score and where to be on the court much better than most of the kids from other schools. I was very proud of the way they played," said Coach Piper Boies. "It was a good preview of what we will see at district in a few weeks. I think we have an excellent shot of taking home quite a few first places," she added.
