Master of details
Master sculptor William Lloyd of South Padre Island applies finishing touches to a sculpture he created with master sculptor 'Amazing Walter' McDonald, also of South Padre Island, during the 12th annual Texas SandFest. 'House Broken' won both third place in the duo division of the master's contest as well as the People's Choice award. SandFest featured competition for master, pro-am, amateur and youth dividisions. See Pages 1B and 7A for more photos and results in each division. Large crowds enjoyed the event held Friday through Sunday, April 18-20. Next year's SandFest will be April 17-19.
