Sigler

James R. Sigler, 60, died Sunday, March 30, 2008, in Austin.

Sigler was a former investigator with the Nueces County Constable's Office in Port Aransas. He had a long history in law enforcement as an Oklahoma highway patrolman, a Weatherford, Okla., police officer, an investigator for the Texas State Lottery, and various other work with state, national and international law enforcement agencies for more than 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Nikki Sigler of Round Rock, son Shawn (Alice) of Austin, granddaughter Maddison Sigler of Canyon, sister-in-law Paula Waller of Round Rock, and niece Lynda Allen of Round Rock.

A private service and spreading of his ashes will be held at a later time.
