Coastal Bend Law Enforcement Chili Cook-off slated for April 12
The Coastal Bend Peace Officers Association has scheduled the third annual Coastal Bend Law Enforcement Chili Cook-off for Saturday, April 12. The event will be held at Roberts Point Park in Port Aransas and is open to any entries.
Entry deadline is Monday, March 31, and the cost is $50 per team. To enter, or to sponsor a team, contact Constable Bobby Sherwood's office at (361) 749-5241, or Don Cook at (361) 886-2625, email DonC@cctexas.com.
All proceeds will benefit Coastal Bend Law Enforcement and Military Families in Need and Port Aransas Project Graduation.
Any non-profit organization is welcome to set up a concession booth. No entry fee will be charged, and groups may retain all proceeds. Contact Sherwood or Cook for more information.
