Beach walk is scheduled March 28
Looking to add to your collection of sea treasures? Join other beach lovers and comb the beaches of Port Aransas on Friday, March 28.
The beach walk, guided by Capt. Steve Zarych, will begin at 9 a.m., from Horace Caldwell Pier at the end of Beach Street.
His knowledge of shells and sea life adds to the trip, making it more interesting, said City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department Community Program Coordinator Pam Greene. The exercise of beach walking is another bonus, Greene said.
The free program is held the fourth Friday of each month and is sponsored by the parks department.
