Scraping due
Cotter Avenue near the beach will offer passing motorists like these a bit more room after Nueces County Parks and Recreation Department crews finish scraping some sand to widen the shoulders of the roadway. The Port Aransas Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended the city grant the county a dune construction permit, which will allow the workers to move the sand; the city council will consider the recommendation tonight, Thursday, March 20.
