PACTheads schedule musical variety show
PROCEEDS BENEFIT RELAY FOR LIFE
Enjoy an evening's entertainment and benefit the American Cancer Society on Friday, March 28.
The Port Aransas Community Theater Relay for Life Team (PACTheads) will present the musical variety show "A Lovely Way to Spend an Evening…" featuring celebrity impersonator Joey B., and benefiting the America Cancer Society. Ken Yarbrough will direct and sing. Other singers include Jack Dreessen, Phyllis Layne, Betty Crawford, Ginny Shaw, Pepper Pendzinski, Cathryn Yarbrough, Claire Jones, Marsha Owen, Christian Harper, Bill McKinney and Mike Jones.
The performance will begin at 8 p.m. on Friday at the Port Aransas Community Theater (PACT), 2327 State Hwy 361.
Tickets may be purchased at the PACT box office from noon to 5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Tickets are $10 per person.
Seating is open, and doors will open at 7:30 p.m.
Drawing and concession items are available. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society, as did last Thursday's performance of "On Golden Pond." That audience of 59 raised $295, since PACT donated $5 from each ticket sold to Relay for Life.
