Volunteers sought
SandFest organizers gearing up
Love the beach and want to help in one of the biggest island events of the year? If so, SandFest could use your help. A meeting for all those interested in volunteering will be held Thursday, March 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the J.E.L.M. Center.
Volunteers are needed to help man the picnic, pet and visitors' tents. People also are needed to help with Lesson Mountain, onground security, parking and traffic and with People's Choice Awards voting.
Anyone with special talents may be used, and others may volunteer to help in unspecified areas. Helpers will be given specific instructions for each job, so it will be just a matter of following directions.
