Tugboats slowly push a massive production platform through the Corpus Christi Ship Channel near the ferry landings as a crowd at Roberts Point Park watches on Saturday, Feb. 23. 'Blind Faith,' the Chevron semi-submersible production platform, was pieced together at Kiewit Offshore Services at Ingleside. Destined for waters off Louisiana, it will be used to drill for oil or gas, according to Sam Salazar, a Kiewit safety coordinator. Next week's South Jetty will feature a bird's eye view from the platform.
