Participants in the Mardi Gras Carnival on Saturday, Feb. 9, let the good times roll. In the photo above, Faith Engle, 8, of Port Aransas, makes her way through a tunnel that was part of a blow-up playground toy set up at the carnival held at Sharkey's. The carnival offered fun for all ages, as John Stevens of Port Aransas, top left, shows his spirit with an ostentatious hat. Sponsored by the Port Aransas Leisure Society. the event benefitted the Jody McCormick Scholarship Fund for vocational education students at Port Aransas High School.
