Lady Marlins JV beats Pettus

The Port Aransas Lady Marlins JV thrashed their Pettus High School counterparts, 50-24, in a Jan. 18 match-up at Pettus.

"The (Lady Marlin JV) played well defensively but also scored a lot of points," said Karen Hall, coach of the Lady Marlin JV.

"We were very aggressive, and it showed," Hall said.

"Pettus only had a few subs, so we ran them up and down the floor," the coach said

With the win, the Lady Marlins JV are 10-8 overall and 1-1 in district competition.
