South Jetty office will be closed Friday afternoon

The South Jetty office will close at noon tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 18, so electrical and telephone lines can be moved.

The newspaper office is adding editorial offices, a mailroom and storage to the building.

After noon, the display advertising sales staff will be working off site, and reporter Dan Parker will be manning a "mobile newsroom". He can be reached to report breaking news or photo opportunities at (361) 290-3366.

The classified advertising, subscription and bookkeeping departments will be closed all day Friday. Customers who need to contact these departments may do so today, Thursday, Jan. 17, or starting Monday, Jan. 21, by calling 749-5131, or stopping by the office at 141 W. Cotter.
