Meuth

James Robert "J.B." Meuth, 55, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008. He was a longtime resident of Port Aransas, where he was the property manager for Island Retreat Condominiums.

Meuth was born Feb. 15, 1953 in Falfurrias.

After his move from Port Aransas to Fulton, he became the property manager for Sandollar Resort.

He was an avid outdoorsman.

Meuth was preceded in death by his father, Charles A. Meuth.

He is survived by his mother, Sarah Meuth of Burnet; a brother, Matt Meuth of Mineral Wells; a sister, Susan (Wayne) Grohman of San Antonio; four nephews, and his maternal grandmother, Arleigh Parmele Hammond of Burnet.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 18, at the Saltwater Pavilion, Rockport Beach Park, 810 Seabreeze Drive, Rockport, Texas 78382.
