      James Robert "J.B." Meuth, 55, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008. He was a longtime resident of Port Aransas, where he was the property manager for Island Retreat Condominiums. Meuth was born Feb. 15, 1953 in Falfurrias. After his move from Port Aransas to Fulton, he became the property manager for Sandollar Resort.

Boldra
      Velta Dawn Boldra, 76, of Omaha, Neb., died Tuesday, Dec. 9, in Omaha. She spent winters in Port Aransas where she owned a condominium at La Mirage. Here she was a member of the Stitch and Bitch Club and was embezzler for the Red Hat Island Trash Society.

      Randy Charles Baker, 29, of Port Aransas, died Monday, Dec.15, 2008. He was born April 28, 1979 in Fort Pierce, Fla. to Randy and Amy Mullin. He was a self-employed contractor in Port Aransas. Baker is preceded in death by his daughter, Dakota Baker.

Moon
      Mansford L. Moon, 79, died Dec. 4, 2008. He was a former resident of Port Aransas. Moon entered the Air Force in 1947, and served in Texas, Japan and Spain. He retired after 23 years of service He was an accomplished golfer who hit two holes-in-one.
