Lady Marlins beat Ingleside in OT

      After falling 11 points behind early in the game, the Port Aransas High School Lady Marlins battled back to squeak past the Ingleside High School Lady Mustangs in an overtime thriller on Tuesday, Nov. 25. PAHS prevailed, 38-36, partly due to clutch shooting at the end of the game by Lady Marlin Rachael Phillips.

Makos and Tempest qualify for district finals

      Two Port Aransas Youth Soccer League teams - the Makos and Tempest - will compete with teams from around much of the state in the western district finals in Corpus Christi Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6-7. It's been more than eight years since the Port Aransas league has had a team qualify for the western district finals, according to league officials.
