FISHING REPORT
Thanksgiving flounder might be just the ticket
      High winds and rough seas kept most of the offshore boats in over the weekend, but that doesn't stop the fishing. Again this week the bay fishermen have it going on. Redfish, flounder, trout and Spanish mackerel have all been caught in abundance.

South jetty limits
      Arthur Toscano and Bill Hoffman of San Antonio caught these trout and pompano off the south jetty on Thursday, Nov. 13. They caught their limit in just a couple of hours of fishing. They used live shrimp under a lemon rig.

Fish roundup
      These saltwater cowboys from Stillwater, Okla., fished aboard the Gulf Eagle on a private charter to the floaters with Capts. Keith Schoolcraft and Nate Forbes on Tuesday, Nov. 11. They brought in these big yellowfin, blackfin, limits of amberjack, several large dorado and barracuda.

Ruby's red
      Ruby McGee of Colbert, Okla. caught this 24-inch redfish from the Channel View condominium pier on Monday, Nov. 10, using live shrimp.
