A remembrance service will be held at 7 p.m. today, Thursday, Nov. 6, for Brian Durant. It will be on the deck at Pelican's Landing Restaurant, Alister and Roberts streets.

Durant, 45, died on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008. He was a cook at Pelican's Landing Restaurant prior to his death.

Survivors include his daughters, Amber Durant, Katie Durant, Brittany Durant and Jessica Durant; his mother, Barbara J. Durant; a sister, Kimberly (Jim) Maser; brothers, David (Lynnette) Durant and Robert Durant; grandson, Skyler Durant, and numerous nephews and nieces.
