Faith Ann Devlin, 72, died Wednesday Oct. 22, 2008. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Capt. Hope Devlin, for whom the Port Aransas Kiwanis Club named the Capt. Hope Devlin Kids Fishing Tournament.

Devlin was born July 13, 1936 in Plymouth, Mass.

She had worked as a nurse.

A former resident of Port Aransas, Devlin had moved to Rockport.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Devlin of Rockport; a daughter, Joann (Peter) Thrasher of Attleboro, Mass.; two brothers, a sister and four grandchildren.

The family will hold private services at a later date.
