Project Graduation meeting set tonight

Projection Graduation 2008-09 will meet for the first time tonight, Thursday, Oct. 9, at 6 p.m. in the Port Aransas High School library.

Parents of juniors and seniors are invited to participate in the fundraising organization.

The new T-shirts for this year may be available at tonight's meeting, and refreshments will be served.

Project Graduation has two bake sales planned, one on Saturday, Oct. 25, one on Saturday, Nov. 22. Both will be at the family Center IGA.

Items are also currently being collected for the annual garage sale in February.

Project Graduation raises funds annually for the party to be given for graduating seniors.

Students attending the party are "locked in" for the night, providing a safe, drug and alcohol-free celebration.
