High tides from Hurricane Ike leave the Lydia Ann Lighthouse even more isolated than usual in this aerial photo taken Saturday, Sept. 13, the day after Ike made landfall. The photo also shows a good outline of some of the kayak trails through the Lighthouse Lakes area.
