April Elizabeth-Anne Sutter, a Port Aransas High School sophomore, has been named an All-American Scholar by the United States Achievement Academy.

All-American Scholars must maintain a 3.3 or higher grade point average and be nominated by a teacher, counselor, coach or other qualified school sponsor.

Sutter, who recently moved here from Lampasas, is the daughter of Tim and Vickie Sutter of Port Aransas. She was nominated by her former teacher, Laura Langford of Lampasas.
