The Sunset Sounds free summer concert series will continue on Friday, Sept. 12. The concert, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fred Rhodes Memorial Pavilion in Roberts Point Park, will feature Eddie Lee Skipworth and Friends.

They play a wide assortment and styles of music, a "little bit of everything," said Pam Greene, community programs coordinator for the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department.

This free concert series, held on the second Friday of each month through October, is courtesy of the parks and recreation department.

Audience members are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets, picnics and coolers.
