This weekend is the last opportunity to catch performances of the Port Aransas Community Theater (PACT) production of "Radio Notes From an Island."

The play, directed by Ginny Shaw, depicts an old-time radio show performed live on stage, reflecting life in Port Aransas during a simpler time. Old-time radio scripts, old musical favorites, on-stage sound effects, and lots of humor are combined in this play.

Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 5 and 6, and a matinee on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at the PACT box office, 2327 State Hwy. 361, from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, or call 749-6036.
