Tomorrow, Friday, Aug. 29, begins the second weekend of performances of the Port Aransas Community Theater (PACT) production of "Radio Notes From an Island."

The play, directed by Ginny Shaw, depicts an old-time radio show performed live on stage, reflecting life in Port Aransas during a simpler time. Old-time radio scripts, old musical favorites, onstage sound effects, and lots of humor are combined in this play.

Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, Aug. 29- 30 and Sept. 5-6 and a matinee on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at the PACT box office, 2327 State Hwy. 361, from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, or call 749-6036.
