Several Port Aransas boys attended a basketball camp at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in July. In front, from left, are Tyler Pate, Chase Chambers, Michael Safford, Storm Bales and Mac Owens. In high school-level recognitions, Pate received the "Play Maker" award, and Owens was named "Chairman of the Boards." At the middle school level, Chambers got the Play Maker award, and Safford was named "most improved." Behind the boys is Pete Peterson, men's basketball coach at the university.
