Volunteers needed to paint Mercer House on Saturday

Volunteers are needed to help paint the Mercer House on Saturday, July 19.

The house, which was recently moved to Alister Street adjacent to the Community Center, will become an historical museum for the community.

The Port Aransas Historical and Preservation Association is spearheading the project.

Volunteers are asked to bring paint brushes and meet at the Mercer house at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Coffee and doughnuts will be provided.
