Milina

Woodie Raye Milina, 83, died Friday, June 27, 2008, in Corpus Christi. She was the wife of John "Bubba" Mi- lina Jr. of Port Aransas.

She was born Sept. 27, 1924, to Ray Hugh and Bessie Marie Johnson in Liberty Hill. Milina served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during WW II and was a past member of the VFW Post in Port Aransas.

She is survived by her daughter Annetta (Jim) Adams of Port Aransas; two brothers, Bill Johnson of Littlefield and Kruger Johnson of Liberty Hill; two sisters, Reba Walker of Cedar Creek and Avinel Pounds of Lubbock; two grandsons, John Randall Gaines and David Marion Milina, both of Port Aransas.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, June 30, followed by an interment with military honors at the Royal Palms Cemetery in Port Aransas.
