A group of shoppers looks at some of the eight cast aluminum turtles "hatched" at an event held on Friday, May 23 as a fundraiser for Friends of the ARK. The non-profit backers of the Animal Rehabilitation Keep (ARK) at The University of Texas at Austin Marine Science Institute will hold five more "hatchings" to display decorated turtles that will be auctioned on Nov. 8.
