Curious beachgoers will have the opportunity to identify much of what washes ashore tomorrow, Friday, May 23.

A guided beach walk, sponsored by the Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department, will examine the beach sampling.

The free walk, led by self-taught naturalist Steve Zarych, will start at 9 a.m. by the red flag next to Horace Caldwell Pier.

Beach walkers should wear appropriate shoes and clothing and bring a container for any treasures found.

The walks are held on the fourth Friday of each month.
