Marlins split games with Medina squad

      The Port Aransas High School Marlins split a double-header with the Medina High School Bobcats on Wednesday, March 19. The Marlins dropped the first game, 2-4, then won the second one, 12-11. "We showed both (our) good and bad sides," said Brian Flack, coach of the Marlins.

Woodsboro pitcher puts punch on Lady Marlins

      When you're up against one of the strongest teams around, you can expect a tough game. That's what the Port Aransas High School Lady Marlins got on Tuesday, March 25, when they fell to Woodsboro, 0-11, in a home game. "This was the best team in our district, with the best pitcher we have faced," said Karen Hall, coach of the Lady Marlins.

Falls City beats PAHS

      Despite stellar pitching by Charley Walker, the Port Aransas High School Marlins fell to the Falls City Beavers, 3-6, in a road game on Thursday, March 20. "Charley Walker pitched the best game I have seen by him by striking out eight batters and giving up only three hits on no earned runs," said Brian Flack, the Marlins' coach.
