Competing in the sun against mostly Class 2-A and 3-A schools with a few Class 1-A schools mixed in, Port Aransas High School's track team performed well at the Riviera meet on Saturday, March 15.

Coach Steve Reaves said, "It was our first hot meet. I am real proud of how the kids competed, especially late in the day after being in the sun all day."

Drake Sawyer competed in pole vault Friday, March 14, at the Flour Bluff meet. He jumped 14' and finished second in the meet.
