Tom A. Brailey, 67, of Kentwood, Mich. died on Jan. 22, 2008, in Texas. He was a Winter Texan who stayed at La Mirage Condominiums.

Before retiring, Brailey was a police dispatcher at the community college. He belonged to the American Kite Association, which took him all over the United States and China.

Survivors include his wife, Bette; two daughters, Christine (Steve) Copron and Karen Brailey and a niece, Jessica Robb.

Services were held Monday, Jan. 28, at St. Mary Magdalen Church with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Mary Magdalen Building Fund, 1213 52nd St. SE, Kenwood, MI. 49508 or the Michigan Heart Association.
