South Jetty sets early deadline for New Year's

New Year's days falling on Tuesday will mean a change in deadlines at the South Jetty.

Deadline for the Thursday, Jan. 3, edition will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31. The office will be open as usual that day, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will close for New Year's Day and reopen and go to press as usual on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

The regular deadline of noon Tuesday for news and advertising will resume for the Thursday, Jan. 10 edition. Deadline for letters to the editor for that and future editions is 10 a.m. on Mondays.
