New Year's Day holiday hours vary by business

Hours for the New Year's holiday will vary at banks and public offices in Port Aransas.

City hall will be closed New Year's Day, and Allied Waste will not collect trash that day.

The business office of the Nueces County Water Control and Improvement District No. 4 will be closed New Year's Day. In an emergency, customers may call the regular office number, 749-5201, and the call will be routed to the employee on call.

The Port Aransas Chamber of Commerce Tourist Bureau will be closed Monday, Dec. 31, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

Holiday banking hours will vary by bank.

At American Bank, regular hours will be in place New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

ValueBank Texas will be closed New Year's Day. Regular hours will be observed on New Year's Eve.

Prosperity Bank will be closed New Year's Day. Regular hours will be in effect on New Year's Eve.
